Key Responsibilities:

To manage a portfolio of selected MH appointed travel agents in Central Region, Malaysia ie. 350 agents.
To develop strategic sales plan to assist achieve target of MYR3.74b FY2013 for Central Region.


Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve revenue for the Sales Central Region on route region coverage.
Prepare sales forward plans on a monthly basis and review performances on a weekly basis on areas such as seats availability, market fares and sales trends.
To prepare monthly sales performance on Central Region achievement against target and submit not later than 07th day of the following month.
To recommend and formulate both short and medium term pricing decision in respect of FIT.GIT sales incentives etc.
Business growth (to increase MH revenue through travel agencies).
Solicit and develop sales strategic plans through travel agencies – (agency coverage)
Increase and monitor agents’ performance on MH via sales calls and coordinated marketing & sales plans.
To review and recommend special fares requested by travel agents under their respective coverage with proper justification.
To organize gathering and functions involving MH Appointed agents.
Plan agency promotion all activities.
Develop and select Tour Series operators for respective route and fare negotiation with tour operators. Monitor filing of such tour series departures as would be consistent with MH revenue and capacity management objectives.
To be on duty in all travel organized by Travel Trade regardless of MH Participation to provide feedback on travel agents and competitors activities.
To assist and grow MH direct channel ie. IBE, MH Officials.

Customer satisfaction (provide quality sales visits to travel agents)

Assist and facilitate agents’ on complaints by their customers which are handled by MH CRU.
Assist, facilitate and solve other issues faced by the travel agents.

Operational Excellence

Assist and facilitate agents’ on complaints by their customers which are handled by MH CRU.
Assist, facilitate and solve other issues faced by the travel a gents on all aspects of Malaysia Airlines services.
Manage, control and direct support team member to ensure all operational requests by the travel agents are attended to and solved.


Malaysian citizens.
Minimum 3 years of experience.
Degree in related disciplines or its equivalent from recognized higher institutions.
Must be fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia and other dialects will be an advantage.
Recognized degree from accredited universities with 1 year service in company may be considered.
Good written and communications skills in Bahasa Malaysia & English.
Must be proactive, self motivated, able to work independently and willing to learn new things and accept changes, provides new ideas and suggestion.
Knowledgeable in MH products, Reservations, Fares and Ticketing.
Good interpersonal, public relation and communication skills.
Computer literate.
